These notes were written prior to the creation of the new club 651 in February of 2007.
Most of the information contained in these pages is still applicable to our clubs, however
please see Changes in 2007 page for some updated
information.
Where and When
We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week (with the exception of national
holidays).

Tuesday
Our "main club session" meets on Tuesdays at the Bridge Center
at 6020 Nicollet in Minneapolis.
From north of Richfield, take 35W south ... exit 60th, 2 blocks west (right) to
Nicollet, turn left and then right, and you're there! (Perkins is right
across the street.)
From southwest of Richfield, go north on 35W, take the Diamond Lake Road exit,
immediately get back on 35W south and take the next exit--which is 60th--and
proceed as above.
From southeast of Richfield, go right off of the Portland exit of 62 (the
crosstown), turn left on 61st Street, right on 5th Street and left on 60th to
Nicollet.
Once you're there, park in the back, enter the back door, go downstairs,
veer right, and you're there!

We start at 6:00 pm, but that's too early for some, so we have an optional
start time of 7:00 pm. We play four rounds. Each round takes about
an hour, so we finish up a little past 10:00 pm. The cost is $3.00 per
person for the night, and we have an optional prize fund of another $1.00.
There is an annual fee of $10.00 if you become a regular attendee.
The Bridge Center provides free coffee and rolls ... upstairs there are vending
machines for pop and candy. Smoking is outdoors only.
You don't have to notify anyone whether you plan to come or not, just
show up! You can leave early any time you need to, as long as you let me
know you're leaving. You need not attend every week, and you don't have
to bring a board or any supplies your first few times out.
Thursday
On Thursdays we meet at the La Casita Mexican-food restaurant in
Roseville. The restaurant is located at 1925 Perimeter Road, just west
of the Rosedale Mall area (
see map at right). Take the Fairview
Avenue exit north off of Highway 36 and turn left (west) on N 36 Service Dr
and then right (north) on Perimeter Drive.
The Thursday session begins at 5:30 pm. It does not cost anything to play,
but the restaurant appreciates our patronage. Prices are reasonable, the
food is very good, and the staff is friendly.
