Rob's 654-point Game and Club-record 1624 Series

Rob vs Vince Gameboard Rob Robinsky set a new club record by scoring 1624 points in a three-game series on Tuesday, March 7, 2006.  This bested the 1614 recorded by Lisa Odom in the year 2000.  On his way to the record, Rob scored 654 points — the fifth-highest single game score in club history — in a game versus Vincent VanDover.  The game featured several new OTCWL2 words, a 140-point triple-triple, and the front hook of bingo PACIEST with another bingo, NAILERS. 

Rob's comments:

The game was replete with scoring errors [DEBT should've been scored 25, not 28] and phoneys, so forgive us both.  As badly as I was outdrawing him, I wasn't about to challenge his phoneys.

I missed fourteen points on my outplay by forgetting HIREE, which is new.  PACIEST and MITTENED are new bingos [the non-bingo VID is also new -- Ed.]
