Jim Kramer's Spectacular Tournament Stories
Introduction
From 1995 to 1998, I wrote seven stories based on tournaments I'd played in
(in one case, even the tournament was a fabrication). In the actual
tournaments, my results had been disappointing, but in the stories, they were
spectacular! Using arcane knowledge about the dictionary, the rules and my
opponents, I was winning everything in sight; and even when I didn't win, the
results were quite satisfactory.
