Club Bingos Played - 2005
Notes About These Lists
The bingos in the lists linked below were played at Tuesday night club sessions
during 2005. These bingos are self-reported and not everyone who plays
chooses to participate in the compiling of these. Others may have
failed to report every single bingo played. Therefore, the lists are not
useful to determine how many bingos were played per game by all players at the
club. Nevertheless, some numbers can be adduced.
The total number of bingos reported was 6069. Of these, 4742 different
words were played and 3833 of them were played exactly once. There were
40 different words that were played at least five times apiece. The
most-frequently played word was AIRIEST (17 times), following closely by
ERASION (13 times). No other word played more than eight times.
There were 3512 seven-letter bingos played, 2526 eights, just 28 nines,
and 3 ten-letter bingos. The tens were CONSULTERS, REDRESSING, and
REPARATION. The breakdowns:

Phonies
Of the 6069 reported bingos, just 292 were "phonies" (95.19% were good!).
One phony (TANGOES*) was played three times; four others (BITCHERS*, DETANGLE*,
RELENTER*, ROTTENS*, and VAUNTIES*) were played twice each. Nineteen
of the phony bingos will be good as of March 1, 2006 (in OCTWL2). They
