Twin Cities Redeye 2008

Tim Adamson finished atop division one in the gruelling Redeye. See the Director's Report for a colorful account of the weekend and for complete standings.

Twin Cities Club Tournament 2007

Lisa Odom took first place in the second (biennial?) Twin Cities Club Tournament.  This unique tournament was held in the party room at The Towers condominiums in downtown Minneapolis.  A big thank you to Harmony Kuller and her husband Mike Litman for getting the room.  See tournament results and directors comments for more.

Twin Cities Fall 2007

Joe Gaspard hogged division one honors, following his Friday Early Bird win with a first place finish in division one of the two-day Main Event.  Other winners: Cal Cooper (division two, Early Bird), Bob Prentiss (division two, Main Event), Niko Tomlinson (division three, Main Event), and Rhonda Sjodahl (division four, Main Event).  See Director's comments and tournament summary page for more.

The 24th Annual "Dells Spells"

Joe Gaspard took division one honors in the 24th annual "Dells Spells" event.  Bob Prentiss, Aditya Kini, and Bob Antolak finished atop divisions two through four in the October 13-14 main event.  In a Friday night early bird tournament -- a NAST qualifier -- Lisa Slankard placed first in a field of eighteen.  See tournament results page for complete standings and links to cross-tables.

Minnesota-Wisconsin Club Challenge 2007

Minnesota crossed the St. Croix to take on Wisconsin in their own backyard (Black River Falls, WI), and for the second year in a row brought back the travelling trophy. Wisconsin's Andy Bohnsack took individual honors in division one, while Minnesota's Janice Kaye won eleven of twelve games to top division two. Twin Cities NAST Events

The first two North American Scrabble Tour (NAST) events were held in Minnepolis on June 16-17, 2007.  Crosstables for these two events are online here:

Twin Cities "Vernacular Spectacular" Spring 2007

Rob Robinsky earned his first career Division One win in Minnesota against a strong field that included Quackle co-creator John O'Laughlin and reigning U.S. Open champion Jim Kramer.  Results, commentary, and crosstables are posted on the tournament summary page.
