Lisa Odom took first place in the second (biennial?) Twin Cities Club Tournament. This unique tournament was held in the party room at The Towers condominiums in downtown Minneapolis. Joe Gaspard hogged division one honors, following his Friday Early Bird win with a first place finish in division one of the two-day Main Event. Other winners: Cal Cooper (division two, Early Bird), Bob Prentiss (division two, Main Event), Niko Tomlinson (division three, Main Event), and Rhonda Sjodahl (division four, Main Event). Joe Gaspard took division one honors in the 24th annual "Dells Spells" event. Bob Prentiss, Aditya Kini, and Bob Antolak finished atop divisions two through four in the October 13-14 main event. In a Friday night early bird tournament -- a NAST qualifier -- Lisa Slankard placed first in a field of eighteen. Minnesota crossed the St. Croix to take on Wisconsin in their own backyard (Black River Falls, WI), and for the second year in a row brought back the travelling trophy. Wisconsin's Andy Bohnsack took individual honors in division one, while Minnesota's Janice Kaye won eleven of twelve games to top division two.
