 Main Event: Sat-Sun, June 24-25. 5 divisions,13 games per division. Round Robin, Mod Swiss and KOH

MAIN EVENT

(Div 1:  ≥1700, Div 2: 1450-1699, Div 3: 1200-1449, Div 4: 950-1199, Div 5: <950 incl unrated)

 

Saturday, June 24      8:15AM           Registration, game setup, tile count

                                    9AM-6PM       8 games with 1 hr deli buffet lunch (included in registration fee)

Sunday, June 25         8:30AM           Game setup, tile count  

                 9AM-3PM       5 games followed by awards ceremony. No scheduled lunch break

 

Your published rating as of 6/18/2006 will determine your division. You may play up one division if your rating is within 100 points of the cutoff, but you cannot play in a division lower than your rating. NSA tournament rules will govern play. Players should provide chess clocks, deluxe boards and smooth tiles. Cash prizes are awarded in each division based on the number of players per division. Approximately 85% of entry fee returned as prizes. Word authority is OWL2  with computer word judging. This tournament is sanctioned by National Scrabble Association.
